This logo was made for a wargaming effort is intended to examine how changes in the natural environment and human responses to these changes affect operational risk, particularly by potentially impairing DOD’s ability to conduct operations in forward locations. The objective of the wargames is to produce a measure of operational risk that is rooted in the perceptions of operational planners themselves, allowing us to understand not just the extent of operational risk, but how decisions are being made and with what information. In addition, this effort is intended to better understand potential adaptations in response to climate change.
